'Til Death Do Us Part (Lily Drake Book #2) Guest Post by author T. Michelle Nelson

'Til Death Do Us Part, the 2nd book in the Lily Drake series is set to release in just 3 days! We have author T. Michelle Nelson here as a guest posting about her series inspiration and setting.

From Mount Vernon, Ohio to New Orleans?

I love that I made the setting for the Lily Drake series my hometown. Mount Vernon is a great place with tons of history, but I wanted to mix things up a bit in the newest book. Few places are as historical, over-the-top and exciting as New Orleans.

I take a vacation there every year. From the first moment I set foot in the French Quarter I was in love. Someday I will call New Orleans home. So naturally, it got thrown in the book and really – what better place to have vampires? It’s been done time and time again, but that’s because New Orleans is the type of place you can really imagine anything happening.

My vampires, Rose, Mathias and Valentine are all quite old. Needing a place where they could have had some history centuries ago, yet still be an exciting place for my main character Lily to visit, New Orleans was the perfect locale. The architecture, the people, the food… no place else on earth is quite like NOLA.

Book Review ~ Who R U Really? ~ A Highly Recommended Read

Who R U Really? by Margo Kelly

Thea's overprotective parents are driving her insane. They invade her privacy, ask too many questions, and restrict her online time so severely that Thea feels she has no life at all. When she discovers a new role-playing game online, Thea breaks the rules by staying up late to play. She's living a double life: on one hand, the obedient daughter; on the other, a girl slipping deeper into darkness. In the world of the game, Thea falls under the spell of Kit, an older boy whose smarts and savvy can't defeat his loneliness and near-suicidal despair. As Kit draws soft-hearted Thea into his drama, she creates a full plate of cover stories for her parents and then even her friends.

Soon, Thea is all alone in the dark world with Kit, who worries her more and more, but also seems to be the only person who really "gets" her. Is he frightening, the way he seems sometimes, or only terribly sad? Should Thea fear Kit, or pity him? And now, Kit wan…
