Wild and Crazy Works Coming up the Pipeline!

Hey blog readers! Your friendly blog host here.

Wow, it's been a nutty year and only 2 months left after this one! Gah! Personally, I've been through some rough things recently and getting back to really trailblazing my writing forward has been helping me to get back to doing what I love. First off, I want to apologize for the delay with 'Inheritance of Ashes'. I had planned to release the book later this month to conclude the series but as I'm still adding to the book, I'll have to move the release up a bit. I won't give a date this time. I want to wait until I'm really close to the finalization process so you guys won't be frustrated with the constant moving dates but I will tell you it's not too far away. ;-) Apologies for the delay, nonetheless! As you all know I'm a perfectionist in bringing my books out in the best condition I can (no rush jobs here ;-D) and this last book in the series is definitely no exception.

I've also moved some other works up a bit as I'm going to see if they garner outside interest first before I take matters into my own hands. ;-) I'll definitely keep you guys updated with the process with any good news I may receive.

For those in Second Life, we're going to be counting down to NaNoWriMo again on October 31st! So grab your candy corn and your manuscript idea and join us in-world! A few writing and book related sims will be joining together for some write-ins, word wars and other NaNo related writing events so stay tuned! Feel free to join my kiosk at my writing cabin (#4) at the Written Word for updates and newsbits. :-)

It's August!

Hey folks!

Can you guys believe it's August already?

Lots of stuff going on in the world of Rae at the moment both personally and professionally. The newsletter will be going out soon and I'm diligently trying to get out a new release ASAHP that was held back a bit due to me not being happy with the end results. Stay tuned because I feel the end is nigh!

I took a breather from book reviewing and reading to deal with my current rental situation, but I miss it! I love the feeling of coming across that epic book you want to shout from the rooftops and losing myself in epic worlds. Sooooo....I'm diving back in. :-D I'm going through the list of books I had waiting in the wings and will try to play catch up. As I'm only one person with a busy schedule, I may not be able to get all the books reviewed right away and some I may sadly have to put aside if they don't grab me enough. Argh! I want to read and review everything but I can see now why so many bloggers have t…

Book Review ~ Who R U Really? ~ A Highly Recommended Read

Who R U Really? by Margo Kelly

Thea's overprotective parents are driving her insane. They invade her privacy, ask too many questions, and restrict her online time so severely that Thea feels she has no life at all. When she discovers a new role-playing game online, Thea breaks the rules by staying up late to play. She's living a double life: on one hand, the obedient daughter; on the other, a girl slipping deeper into darkness. In the world of the game, Thea falls under the spell of Kit, an older boy whose smarts and savvy can't defeat his loneliness and near-suicidal despair. As Kit draws soft-hearted Thea into his drama, she creates a full plate of cover stories for her parents and then even her friends.

Soon, Thea is all alone in the dark world with Kit, who worries her more and more, but also seems to be the only person who really "gets" her. Is he frightening, the way he seems sometimes, or only terribly sad? Should Thea fear Kit, or pity him? And now, Kit wan…
