I've been tagged!

Ooh, we're about to get personal over here!

The rules of the game are:

A). Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog...

B). Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself...

C). Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs...

D). Let each person know that they've been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

I got tagged by Danielle.

7 random facts:

1. I like to lurk on reader message boards and see what readers are talking about in my fave genres.

2. I'm obsessed with books, shrimp, and almost anything pumpkin. And not necessarily in that order.

3. I can sit for hours lost inside my own thoughts and inner world (weee!)

4. I grew up with a fear of snails. The sad thing is I'm still terrified of the little slimy things. Yecch.

5. I became obsessed with vampires in my teens thanks to (guess who?) Anne Rice's series. Actually the truth is I'm still pretty obsessed with them, but I hate the kind that kill indiscriminately like uncontrollable animals (ie 30 Days). Sexy vampires with a humanistic quality, those are my kinda vamps!

6. I obsessively check and recheck things before sending them off and even then I still find something I could have changed. A touch of OCD perhaps? Meh.

7. I can't do outlines and character sketches before I start writing. I tried, I just can't do it, boy! I swear the last time I tried, crop circles showed up in my backyard. Disaster, man.

It's August!

Hey folks!

Can you guys believe it's August already?

Lots of stuff going on in the world of Rae at the moment both personally and professionally. The newsletter will be going out soon and I'm diligently trying to get out a new release ASAHP that was held back a bit due to me not being happy with the end results. Stay tuned because I feel the end is nigh!

I took a breather from book reviewing and reading to deal with my current rental situation, but I miss it! I love the feeling of coming across that epic book you want to shout from the rooftops and losing myself in epic worlds. Sooooo....I'm diving back in. :-D I'm going through the list of books I had waiting in the wings and will try to play catch up. As I'm only one person with a busy schedule, I may not be able to get all the books reviewed right away and some I may sadly have to put aside if they don't grab me enough. Argh! I want to read and review everything but I can see now why so many bloggers have t…
